Playing Lessons

Overseeing skill transfer to the golf course is a critical part of the coaching process.  Coaching goes beyond what you accomplish in 60 minutes on the lesson tee.  While ‘transfer’ practice on the driving range can be simulated, it’s no replacement for the real thing.

Playing lessons are where the student learns to transfer their new skills under the unpredictable and stressful conditions they’ll face when they play golf.

The Gold Standard for any coach should be LOWERING SCORES! Read Andrew’s testimonial page to sample just a few of his students success stories!

Implementing a purposeful ‘pre-shot ‘ and ‘post-shot’ routine, learning how to hit off a very tight lie, or when to hit a hybrid off the tee rather than a driver, or what to do when you’re in between clubs are a small sample of what you will learn in a playing lesson. These critical skills go beyond technical instruction; you have to be able to take it to the golf course!

Andrew’s job as a coach is to help you increase your enjoyment of the game by ‘playing better golf!’ It’s important to note that the ‘game of golf’ will never played on the driving range!
